The Buttery is committed to providing access to responsive, integrated and quality substance misuse rehabilitation and mental health services for youth in regional and rural NSW.
Buttery Communality Outreach for Youth (BCOY)
Age: 10 - 19 years.
Location: Coffs Harbour to Tweed Heads.
Program Overview
- Individual and group alcohol and other drugs (AOD) early intervention, prevention and treatment.
- 10-19 year olds who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander targeted support.
- Group counselling in ACMENA and Tabulam.
CORE Young People Program (CORE-YP)
Age: 12 - 24 years.
Location: Port Macquarie, Birpai Country area.
Program Overview
- 7-Week Day Rehabilitation: Participants engage in a 7-week, day rehabilitation program, attending group and individual support
- 4 months Aftercare: Participants receive up to 4 months of aftercare support.
- Increase Self Esteem and Wellbeing: Participants learn essential self-care practices to support their overall wellbeing.
- Drug and Alcohol Psychoeducation: Participants gain insights into the effects of alcohol and substance use and explore healthier alternatives.
- Coping Skills and Emotional Regulation: Participants develop effective coping skills and emotional regulation techniques.
- Healthy Relationships: Participants learn to foster healthy relationships and communication patterns.
- Strengthening Support Networks: Participants build a supportive network to aid in connection, support, and personal growth.
